When do I get my deposit back?

Your deposit will be refunded within 30 days after either two years of on-time payment history or when you submit a written request for service discontinuation, whichever comes first.
Your service deposit will be refunded within 30 days following:
- Two years of on-time payment history, OR
- A written request for discontinuation or disconnection of water service
Whichever comes first.
Deductions from your deposit
Any charges on your account will be deducted from the deposit amount before the refund is issued.
Interest on deposits
If your deposit was over $100, you will also receive any interest earned on the deposit. For more information, see Do I earn interest on my deposit?
