What payment methods are accepted?

The utility accepts payments by automatic bank draft, personal check, cashier's check, or cash. Declined payments may result in loss of certain payment privileges.
You can pay your water bill using several convenient methods. A billing statement will be mailed or sent electronically monthly, regardless of which payment method you select.
Accepted payment methods:
1. Automatic bank draft
- Funds automatically withdrawn from your bank account
- Must provide account information to utility
- Must notify utility of any changes to account information
- Failure to notify of changes may result in cancellation of this option
2. Credit Card
- Credit card can be automatically charged when set up in the customer portal
- Credit card can also be used for one time payments in the customer portal
- Must provide account information to utility
- Must notify utility of any changes to account information
- Failure to notify of changes may result in cancellation of this option
2. Personal check
- Mail to utility office or pay in person
- Must be received by due date (not just postmarked)
3. Cashier’s check
- Mail to utility office or pay in person
- Must be received by due date (not just postmarked)
4. Cash
- Pay in person at utility office during business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Friday, excluding holidays)
Declined payments: If your financial institution declines payment:
- Account becomes subject to normal credit collection procedures
- Returned check charge of $27 applies
- Multiple declines may result in loss of check/auto draft privileges
- Utility may deny you the privilege of paying by automatic draft or check in the future
Important notes:
- You’ll still receive monthly statements even with automatic payments
- Declined payments don’t prevent charges from becoming delinquent
- Always ensure sufficient funds and correct account information
