You must give at least 5 business days written notice to stop service. You'll remain responsible for charges until the utility receives your written notice.
When moving out, you must give the utility written notice to stop service.
Notice requirements
- Written notice required - You must specify the date service should be discontinued
- At least 5 business days advance notice before the change of occupancy
Your responsibility
You remain responsible for all charges for water service until the utility receives your written notice.
Final billing
- A final bill will be prepared within 1 week of the discontinuation date
- Due and payable 25 days after the bill is rendered
- The final bill will be prorated for the actual days of service in the final month
Deposit refund
Your deposit will be refunded within 30 days following your written request for discontinuation. Any charges on your account will be deducted from the deposit before the refund.
