Service calls cost $102 during business hours (8am-5pm weekdays) or $152 during non-business hours.
When the utility dispatches personnel to your property for a service call, you’ll be charged based on when the call is made.
Service call fees:
- During business hours: $102
- During non-business hours: $152
Business hours definition:
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Monday through Friday
- Excluding national holidays
When service call fees apply: Service calls are distinct from turn-on/turn-off visits and typically involve:
- Responding to service issues or concerns
- Investigating water quality problems
- Checking for leaks or system problems
- Responding to customer-reported issues
- Non-routine service requests
Related but different fees:
Turn-on/Turn-off:
- $122 business hours / $172 non-business hours
- Specifically for operating the curb stop valve
Keybox locate:
- $122 business hours / $172 non-business hours
- For locating lost or buried keyboxes
Return visit:
- $122 flat fee
- When you’re not present for scheduled appointment
Scheduling service calls:
- Call utility at (907) 222-4084
- Schedule at least 24 hours in advance for non-emergencies
- Don’t count weekends, holidays, or hours between 4pm-8:30am
- You or your representative must be present
- Utility will notify you whether service will be morning or afternoon
If you’re not present:
- Utility rep leaves door hanger notice
- You must reschedule
- Pay $122 return visit charge
- Original service call fee may still apply
