Can I get water service if I have an unpaid bill from another property?

Starting & Connecting Service

No. You must pay any delinquent amounts or arrange a payment plan satisfactory to the utility before new service will be provided.

The utility will not provide water service to anyone who is delinquent in paying for water service—whether at the same property or any other property within the utility’s service area.

Credit requirements:

  • All previous utility bills must be paid in full, or
  • You must arrange to pay delinquent amounts in a manner satisfactory to the utility
  • A service deposit (Section W-007) will be required
  • A new account will not be opened until both conditions are met

What you can do: If you have a delinquent account, contact the utility office at (907) 222-4084 to:

  • Discuss payment plan options
  • Arrange satisfactory payment terms
  • Provide the required deposit for new service

Once you’ve resolved the delinquent account and provided the required deposit, your new service application can proceed.
