Mile 8 Flushing

To improve your water quality, we will be flushing sediment from the water mains next week in Settlers Bay between Tuesday, July 26th to Wednesday, July 27th.

During this time, there may be some momentary drops in pressure, but we don’t expect any outages. There may also be some sediment stirred up in your service line. Please refrain from doing laundry during those hours because sediment stirred up from flushing can stain your clothing. If your water is cloudy coming from the tap, please turn on your outside spigot and let it run until the water runs clear. If you do not have a spigot, please run your bathtub until the water runs clear.
